Job Description
Role: Full Stack Engineer
Client: Altimetrik/Samsung
Location: Los angels, CA
Full Stack dev position open for 7+ Years hands-on experience (with more focus on backend - 80% and less focus on UI - 20%. But the candidate should be able to do both)
Top 3 skills:
1. Node.Js Backend (minimum 3+ experience)
2. ReactJs and VueJs (minimum 2+ experience)
3. Database knowledge(minimum 2+ experience), Ex: Postgresql/CockroachDB - SQL and NoSql
Tip: When you source resumes, please see if the candidates have worked on real node.js backend (complete API development in Node.Js). Usually we get people in market who says they have worked in Node.js but they would have just use Node as BFF (Backend for Frontend), an intermediate connecting layer for their backend which might be in Java or some other technologies. But, we want the former (complete API development in Node.js) and not the latter.
Here is the JD:
Degree Required: Bachelors / Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field in a reputable institution
Top required/must have technical skills:
•7+ years hands-on professional experience (SDE)
•Proficient in (more) Backend and (less) Frontend development
•Proficient in following areas:
o Minimum 3+ years of experience in Node.JS (Required) for backend development. Must have strong coding experience.
o 2+ years of experience in ReactJs + Redux and/or Vue.Js
o Strong web technologies - Microservices, Building API's, Load Balancing, (Required)
o JSON standards (JavaScript Object Notation) (Required)
o Experience in Backend technologies like Java is a plus
o Experience in one of the clouds is required (AWS/Azure/GCP)
o Minimum 2+ years of Experience in Nosql and SQL is required.
•Experience in working with at least one NodeJs web framework (Express, Sails or Hapi)
•All development and deployment are Linux based and the developer should be able to work on a Mac.
•Strong analytical and programming skills
•Strong knowledge in Data structures and Algorithms
•Good understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
•Good understanding of Object-oriented programming concepts

•Get challenged on your DS & Algorithm skills and Design patterns every day
•Get the experience of building products from the scratch and taking them all the way to production
•Work with business and provide solutions to problems faced by customers
•Design and development of new and enhance existing applications using Hapijs
•Single Page Web Apps development using Vuejs and React+Redux
•Collaborate with internal and external team members to support Samsung.com site providing first level engineering support
