Position Title: Additive Manufacturing Engineer Location: Long Beach, CA Position Type: Full Time Regular Salary Range: $83,800-$140,000 *Posted salary range is entry level, actual compensation depends on experience level Schedule: M-F Environment: Onsite Travel: Domestic and International Travel Required Position Overview: The Additive Manufacturing Engineer will support application development, process parameter development, material development, and manage associated projects in collaboration with the Applications Development team and customers. This candidate will be one of the subject matter experts within the organization for DeD and shall provide mentoring as needed to team members in support of various projects. Description of responsibilities: Design & Development: Collaborate on designing, specifying, and developing applications, materials, and processes for Directed Energy Deposition (DED) machines. Document all related activities Quality Improvement: Enhance the quality and value of Nikon DED additive machines by applying engineering and scientific principles Project Leadership: Lead development projects by establishing and implementing standards and methodologies for evaluating product performance.
