They are currently looking for a Network Security Engineer to join their team and support their advanced infrastructure and security operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with strong experience in Cisco, Fortinet, SD-WAN, Zscaler, and ITSM processes. This is a great chance to join a global team, expand your network security skills, and work with cutting-edge tools in a balanced, no-travel environment. This is a 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity with a hybrid schedule 3 days onsite in the Denton, TX area and 2 days remote. Required Skills & Experience Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, Cisco routers and switches, Spanning Tree, and VTP Proficient in Cisco Firewalls, IDS, Firepower Management Console Experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and FortiManager Working knowledge of SD-WAN, Dynamic Multipoint VPN Familiar with Zscaler (Private and Internet Access), Infoblox DHCP/DNS/IP management Experience with Cisco ISE, Prime, DNAC, and wireless controllers (IOS and AireOS) Proficient in using ServiceNow and understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Knowledge) Strong troubleshooting, incident response, and documentation skills Minimum of 3 years in a similar role Desired Skills & Experience Familiarity with scripting (Python preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Able to work across time zones and on holidays if needed Highly collaborative, proactive, and service-minded Strong work ethic and ability to perform under pressure What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown 60% Cisco Meraki hardware, switches, wireless 40% Microsoft Azure, Office 365, SharePoint Daily Responsibilities 70% Hands-on technical tasks (monitoring, troubleshooting, improving operations) 20% Security and compliance-related duties 10% Team collaboration and documentation The Offer Eligible for bonus or commission Benefits include: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid vacation time Stock options Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
