Carney, Sandoe & Associates , an educational recruitment firm, is currently seeking an experienced Middle School English Teacher at an independent in the Seattle area .

The school is seeking a passionate Middle School English Teacher who strives to watch their students succeed. The school is seeking someone who to promote academic excellence and values in a nurturing environment that empowers students to reach their highest academic potential while preparing them to become leaders in the service of their families and their communities.

Responsibilities of the Middle School English Teacher:

• Participating in professional development opportunities and attending all staff, team, and community meetings
• Creating a positive, achievement-oriented classroom culture that allows all students to achieve high academic standards

Requirements of the Middle School English Teacher:

• Master’s Degree preferred; Bachelor’s Degree required
• 1-2 years of full-time teaching experience preferred
• Exceptionally strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to demonstrate competency in other content areas beyond certification content, particularly in Literacy.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
