Job Summary

The Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for accurately performing a variety of clinical laboratory tests & procedures.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science and completion of NAACLS accredited MLS program or bachelor's degree in related science and 1-2 years' experience acceptable to the ASCP or AMT
• Six Months to one year of related experience preferred

Certification, Licensure, Registration

• Must be board certified from the ASCP, AMT or equivalent within 12 months of hire.

Work Schedule

• Varied Shifts; PRN 
  • Weekend Call: One weekend every 3 months
  • Holidays: every fourth rotation 
  • On-call time weekdays as needed

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.  

• $27.50 - $41.50 per hour
