Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about making a difference in healthcare? We're looking for a Medical Intake & Data Entry Specialist to join our team! In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients and healthcare professionals, ensuring that critical information is accurately collected and processed.

What You'll Do:

Answer incoming calls for the Utilization Review department and direct inquiries appropriately.

Retrieve voicemail messages and ensure they reach the correct nurse or department.

Collect and input demographic and medical information to create patient files.

Print, mail, fax, and copy correspondence as needed.

Support the team with other clerical and administrative tasks as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional coursework in computers, medical terminology, or data entry is a plus.

Skills: Proficiency in computer applications, data entry, word processing, and multi-line telephone systems.

Experience: At least one year of professional office experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Personal Qualities: A friendly and professional phone demeanor, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
