Job Title: Master Data Analyst

Location: North Chicago, IL 60064 (Hybrid 03 days onsite 02 days remote)

Contract Length: 1 year (with potential for extension or conversion to FTE based on performance and business needs).

Job Overview:

The Master Data Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of RTR (Record to Report) and OTC (Order to Cash) Master Data. This role acts as a liaison between IT, Accounting, FP&A, Operational Excellence, and Business Partners to facilitate the migration and clean-up of legacy data into SAP systems. The Analyst will coordinate the population of Load Ready Files (LRF) and will work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve data issues, ensuring timely and accurate data migration and adherence to project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

· Data Migration & Clean-up : Collaborate with IT to extract data from legacy systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX) and map it to SAP fields. Analyse data errors, identify root causes, and propose solutions from end-to-end.

· Data Analysis & Reporting : Utilize Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) to document and analyse data, and automate reports and analysis required periodically.

· Vendor Master Data : Work with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Treasury, and business users to ensure proper onboarding and maintenance of authenticated vendor master data in systems such as SAP, Ariba, and DSP.

· Pre-Load and Post-Load Review : Review Pre-Load and Post-Load reports for data accuracy and quality (Pre-Q and Q). Follow up on issues between IT and business teams to resolve discrepancies.

· Data Cleansing : Work with IT coordinators to cleanse data in legacy systems and enrich missing fields.

· Process Improvement : Prepare documentation and work instructions for process improvements related to vendor maintenance systems and other related systems.

· Business Support : Address queries from business users regarding vendor master data and respond to escalated requests.

· Adherence to SLAs : Ensure strict adherence to Client processes and service level agreements (SLAs) for all vendor master data tasks.

· Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Procurement, and Finance, to ensure seamless data handling and migration.

· Project Management : Manage and track corrective action items related to master data issues and report progress to project teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

· Education : Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.

· Experience : 1-3 years of relevant experience in Financial Audit, FP&A, Accounting, or Consulting, preferably within the vendor master data domain.

Technical Skills :

o Expertise in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas) for data analysis and reporting.

o Prior experience with SAP (S4, Ariba, DSP) or similar ERP systems is preferred.

· Analytical Skills : Strong ability to analyse data, identify issues, and propose corrective actions.

· Organizational Skills : Excellent time management and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects with aggressive timelines.

· Flexibility : Ability to work across multiple time zones, including JAPAC time, as needed.

Desired Skills:

· Knowledge of vendor master data processes.

· Familiarity with SAP, Ariba, or DSP systems is a plus.

· Previous experience with large data migration projects is an asset.
