Purpose

Collect, organize, analyze and present data to the plant leadership team to identify trends and opportunities to drive continuous improvement in the facility. This role supports all the various functions within the plant to drive business key results in safety, quality and EBITDA.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides day to day contact and communications with management team regarding plant metrics such as throughput and downtime
• Responsible for data mining and trending plant data
• Data input for plant operational reporting
• Review, maintain and build spreadsheets as appropriate for mill management needs
• Identify patterns and trends to determine if processes are in control or out of control
• Preparation of correspondence, reports (internal and external) and other related documents
• Present data findings to team members in a way to support continuous improvement
• Own data sets for the plant
• Models company core values

Required Qualifications

• Associates degree in Business or Accounting or three to five years’ experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent keyboard skills and 10-key by touch
• Ability to prioritize and work with a great deal of speed and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft programs including Word and Outlook
• Highly capable in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent listening, written and verbal communications skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet deadlines, be accurate, work under pressure and multi-task
• Highly organized, self-motivated team player that fosters a positive work environment
• Ability to work with all people
• Honesty, integrity and efficiency
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting or Engineering
