Title : Maintenance Analyst

Location : Houston, TX

Hire Type : Long Term Contract

Salary :$40-$45/hr.

Sterling Engineering is looking for a Maintenance Analyst for a leading refinery in Houston, TX. This is a great company to work with that is very well known in the oil and gas industry!

Job Duties :

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify maintenance challenges and develop effective strategies.
• Analyze maintenance data and equipment performance metrics to provide actionable insights that enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Lead work-process optimization projects aimed at improving maintenance workflows and overall operational performance.
• Develop best practice templates for planning and scheduling maintenance to ensure minimal operational disruption.
• Implement recommendations to improve equipment uptime and throughput while managing maintenance costs.
• Clearly communicate findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders for alignment and execution.
• Conduct root cause analyses and predictive maintenance planning to prevent equipment failures and extend asset life.
• Stay current on industry trends and innovations in maintenance technologies and practices.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field; 2+ years of job-related experience required
• Master’s degree (MBA or similar) is a plus
• Relevant background in analytics, management consulting, or industrial environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex data sets
• Proficient in Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau
