Action Machine is a full service CNC machine shop located in South Bend,

Indiana. With expertise in short run production, maintenance machining, and

welding services we are committed to delivering high-quality products.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Machinist at Action Machine. The Machinist

will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC and manual machines and

reading engineering drawings in order to make parts to tolerance.

Standard work hours: Mon-Fri 7 am to 3:30 pm. Overtime and some Saturdays

as required by workload.

Responsibilities/Qualifications

Program, set up, and operate CNC mills/lathes using G-code.

Set up and operate mills, lathes, and surface grinders.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Knowledge of machine tools and equipment maintenance.

Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Able to collaborate with engineers and other team members on machined

products.

Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
