Job Title : Logistics Coordinator

Duration : 6 Months Contract (Possibility of Extension)

Location : Fresno CA

Pay Rate: $25/hour on w2/without benefits

Job Description:

• The Logistics coordinator will use routing software to integrate new customers and vendors into existing routes in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Plan and implement re-routes ensuring all routes remain cost-effective, scheduled/unscheduled orders and backhauls at prescribed timelines utilizing the most efficient method available.
• Create and maintain current vendor and carrier files that include current liability insurance documentation; monitor and manage all 3PL freight relationships, encourage improved performance, and process freight claims.
• Develop positive relationships with freight and external logistics companies. Lead weekly logistics status meetings to inform stakeholders.
• Investigate and recommend optimal shipping options and coordinate with vendors. Coordinate and communicate with external parties to ensure acquisition and delivery of shipments.
• Ensure shipping compliance with state, federal, and international regulations.
• Typical years experience in field of 3-5 years.
