Now Hiring: Experienced Logging Truck Driver

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Logging Truck Driver to haul logs in a safe and efficient manner across Northern California. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of log truck driver experience. Pay: $25.00–$29.00/hour, based on experience and responsibility level.
Schedule: Full-time, driving and travel required in Northern California up to 75% of the time.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections of the truck and cargo.
• Haul logs from logging sites to log deck or mill.
• Abide by all company and DOT safety regulations.
• Ensure the load is secured and properly distributed.
• Complete and maintain required paperwork, including driver’s logs and shipping documentation.
• Report any delays or issues promptly to your supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Must have two years of related experience hauling loads up to 100k lbs.
• Valid Class A CDL, 5 to 7 years clean driving record, and current DOT physical.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screening.
• Must pass pre-employment road test to demonstrate driving skills.
• Ability to operate trucks with manual transmission. 18 Speed Manual.
• Log hauling experience is a must, minimum 2 years.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain focused and professional in various environments.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to sit for long periods, shift manual transmission, and operate foot pedals.

• Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions, loud noise, and moving mechanical parts.

Work Environment:

• Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Exposure to challenging terrains and loud noise.

Travel:

• Local travel within Northern California.
