WCS Healthcare is urgently seeking a Sterile Processing Tech for a state of the art health care system in Hackensack.

Job Function:

\n

• Day Shift, Evening Shift and Night Shift.
\n
• 5x8: 7am - 3:30pm / 3pm - 11:30pm.
\n

• Disassembles, cleans, sterilizes, reassembles, and packages instruments and supplies according to specifications and manufacturer instructions.

  \n
\n

• Operates sterilization equipment including washers, steam sterilizers, ultrasonic machines, and ethylene oxide sterilizers.

  \n
\n

• Adheres to instrument count sheets for surgical sets and case carts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  \n
\n

• Examines instruments and equipment for cleanliness, proper assembly, and functionality.

  \n
\n

\n

Job Requirements:

\n

• High School Diploma or GED.

  \n
\n

• Certified as a Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) or by the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD).

  \n
\n

• 1 year of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician.

  \n
\n

• Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques, infection control standards, and basic medical/surgical procedure terminology.

  \n
\n
