We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled School Psychologist for an in-person FMLA coverage opportunity in DuPage, IL. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative, student-focused environment supporting Pre-K/Early Childhood students during a critical transition period. You will lead screenings, case studies, and team meetings that directly support student success. Position Details: Position: School Psychologist Location: Elmhurst, IL Duration: 8/2025 - 12/2025 Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 hours per day Setting: In-person, On-site Responsibilities: * Lead weekly child find team meetings reviewing new student screening information. * Conduct all screenings and case studies for students transitioning from early intervention using Linder’s Play-Based Assessment. * Participate in MTSS and address new open domains for students referred through screening into classrooms. * Complete approximately 10–15 full case studies and screen 40–50 students during the assignment. * Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student transitions and success. * Maintain accurate records and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings. Qualifications: * Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology. * Illinois State Certification as a School Psychologist with a Professional Educator License (PEL). * Experience with Play-Based Assessment and working with young children. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff.
