Position: Live-out or Live-in Cook/Housekeeper
Schedule: Full-time, Tuesday Saturday (11am through dinner clean up) or Wednesday Sunday
Location: Stamford, CT
Salary: $80 85K
Overview:
Retired woman with visiting family members is in need of a team-oriented person to work along with full-time Housekeeper.The focus of the Cook/Housekeeper job is to plan, shop and prepare lunch and dinner for the household, maintain cleanliness of kitchen, breakfast room, and dining room, and assist with light housekeeping on full-time Housekeepers days off.
General Responsibilities:
Shopping, cooking, and cleaning for lunch and dinner
Menu planning for lunch and dinner
Stock control and inventory of daily foods (yogurt, milk, fruits, OJ) and pantry staples (peanut butter, butter, flour, sugar)
Regularly clean out the refrigerator and freezer and discard spoiled products
Upkeep of kitchen, breakfast room, dining room, sitting and dining porches
Dinner party catering as needed
Help polish silverware
Candidate Qualities:
Professional, capable, self-confident, and intuitive
Good communicator
Generally knows what to do, requires minimal direction, and is open to feedback
Can adjust to and accommodate changing circumstances
Requirements:
5+ years experience as a Cook/Housekeeper
Excellent, stable work history and references
Non-smoker
Good English fluency
