Private family looking hire a Live-In Nanny in New Canaan, CT!
The Ideal Candidate: A family of 4 is looking for a loving, responsible, and organized live-in nanny. They will help care for their 1-year-old and 3-year-old. Both children are in full-time school programs, so the role primarily involves morning and evening care, along with light household support. Key Responsibilities: Morning Care (7:00 AM - 9:00 AM) Assist with getting the children ready for school. Prepare and pack their lunches. Evening Care (4:30 PM - 8:00 PM) Help with dinner preparation and feeding the children. The family likes to have a sit-down meal together. You are welcome to eat as well if you'd like. Assist with bath and bedtime routines. Occasional evening babysitting. Weekend Support would be ideal. Spend a few hours on weekends, such as taking the kids to the park on Saturday mornings or watching a movie. Light Housekeeping such as load and unload the dishwasher, wash dishes after dinner, prepare simple meals like boiling pasta or reheating leftover. Manage kids' laundry as needed. Bonus: Assistance with family laundry is a plus. Working Hours on average will be 40 hours per week, these will be guaranteed. Occasional overtime available and will be compensated extra. Children outside of school are active and busy with activities such as swim, music, etc. Candidate will be required to drive and must feel comfortable doing so. A car will be provided for work use. No pets in the home.
Living Arrangements- Private, spacious living quarters and bathroom. The room includes queen/king-sized bed, a couch, and a TV, and it has a fridge and water source for convenience.
Ideal Candidate- Experience caring for young children and managing a household. Friendly, nurturing, and organized. Comfortable cooking light meals and performing light housekeeping tasks. A valid driver's license. Position Requirements - Work Hours: Monday- Friday 7AM-9AM/10AM, 4:30PM-8PM, Saturday a few hours in the morning. 40 hours, will pay for any over time.
