Hiring a LICENSED LEAD Preschool Teacher for Lake Area Discovery Center at Faithful Shepherd Catholic School in Eagan, MN.
The position includes leading a Preschool classroom, working with a team of assistant teachers, and paid daily prep time. Lead Teachers work together with the on-site and regional lead teaching teams to plan monthly lessons and share resources for all lead teachers, classrooms, continuing education training, and leadership development.
The 12-month teaching salary ranges from $58,000 to $70,000. (A 9-month salary/ teaching position is also available for Lead Teachers who do not teach through the summer.)
The positions qualify for *64 Hours PTO, Paid Holidays, Paid In-service/Non-Student Days, Health Benefits, and $500 Continuing Education Credit. Must have a B.A. or B.S. in Education or related field, and a current or in-process MN Teaching License and/or Master of Education degree.
The Lake Area Discovery Center has been serving young families in the Twin Cities Metro since 1999 and is currently partnering with 18 churches and schools. It provides programming for children aged 6 weeks to 5-year-old pre-kindergarten students, collaborating with the churches and schools in ministry and education to offer rich learning and faith-formation experiences.
