Outside working hours if other than M-F 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Some work nights until 8:30pm, some Saturdays, 8:00am-4:30pm.

Job Summary and Description

Performs professional librarian duties in an academic environment.

Will work mainly in the Technical Services Department in the library assisting the acquisitions team with original cataloging and copy cataloging.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Master's degree from an American Library Association accredited program.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Experience performing original cataloging and copy cataloging using MARC coding, LCSH, MARC edit, OCLC and current metadata practices.
