Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8 years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required (preferably at the date of hire, or must be obtainable within a reasonable period of time). Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. As a Lead Systems Engineer ( Sr Adv Systems Eng ) for the Strategic Weapon Interface Simulator (SWIS), you will lead a cross-functional team responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of complex systems within our organization. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project success. The ideal candidate will have experience in systems engineering, project management, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget. Technical Leadership : Past experience in leading technical teams or projects, with a track record of driving innovation and successfully implementing advanced technical solutions. Experience in Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) : Proficiency in using EVMS to monitor project performance, ensuring adherence to cost, schedule, and technical performance standards.
