We are seeking a passionate, innovative, and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual who is looking to make a significant impact on the way we develop and deliver our products. You will be working with a dedicated team of engineers and developers, collaborating to solve complex problems and create cutting-edge software solutions. This role will allow you to leverage your technical skills in vb.net, c/c++, c language, sql, oracle, and troubleshooting while also providing you with the opportunity to develop new skills and grow professionally.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications for manufacturing processes, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new software features and functionalities.
- Integrate internal applications with existing systems and legacy tools to streamline operations and improve productivity.
- Provide technical support for software applications, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to ensure minimal disruption to manufacturing processes.
- Conduct system analysis and performance testing to optimize software for maximum speed, security, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them into operations and activities.
- Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code.
- Mentor junior software engineers, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience with vb.net, c/c++, c language, sql, oracle, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with internal applications and legacy tool integration.
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior software engineers.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
