We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with a deep understanding of Python and Next.js to join our early-stage team. This role will provide an opportunity to work in a fast-paced startup environment, and build complex, greenfield projects from the ground up with a stellar group of product-minded engineers.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and implement highly scalable, reliable, and robust applications using Python and Next.js.
2. Build and manage data pipelines and ETL processes to support business requirements.
3. Utilize CI/CD for rapid build, test, and deployment of applications.
4. Work with the team to manage and maintain Postgres databases.
5. Leverage Pydantic and Pyright for data validation and static type checking.
Qualifications:
(We're open to candidates that are fully BE focused with Python expertise, as well as Full Stack leaning BE or FE)
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on Python and Next.js.
3. Proven experience with TypeScript, CI/CD, Pydantic, Postgres, Pyright, FastAPI, and Microservices.
4. Strong understanding of software architecture principles.
5. Experience with data pipelines and ETL processes.
6. Must have previous experience in a startup environment, preferably at a SaaS or software company.
