Come play an important role in the development and commercialization of an exciting RNA structural dynamics platform and help solve the world’s most challenging diseases. 

We are seeking a highly motivated lab technician to join our team. As a member of the team you will contribute to and run a variety of biochemical assays, prepare samples, and gain novel expertise in the rapidly growing field of RNA-targeted small molecule drug discovery. You will work closely with the other members of the team to directly support our drug-discovery efforts.

Adaptability, creativity, ability to work independently, enthusiasm, and excellent communication skills are critical to thrive in this fast-paced and collaborative environment. How You’ll Contribute

• Prepare RNA samples for assays and other experiments.
• Run assays in a rigorous and reproducible manner.
• Present data and findings for review, group discussions, and team meetings.
• Work using best laboratory practices, maintaining well-organized and concise records of work performed and results.

Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology or a related field.
• Prior experience working in a research laboratory.
• Expertise in setting up and running biochemical assays and experiments.
• Can run standard biochemical experiments and operate basic laboratory equipment including: polyacrylamide and agarose gels, PCR, UV-Vis, centrifuges, balances, and micropipettes. 
• Scientifically driven, enthusiastic, able to multitask and work as part of a small team.

Desired but not required:

• Ability to code in Python
• Previous experience working with RNA
• Previous experience working in the field of drug discovery.
