Hypemasters is a fast-growing game development company creating innovative mobile and PC games, driven by creativity and engaging gameplay. In addition to our hit title, World War Armies, we are developing exciting new projects across different genres. We are looking for a Junior Game Designer to join our team and contribute to the creation of immersive gaming experiences.
As a Junior Game Designer at Hypemasters, you'll work closely with experienced designers, artists, and engineers to develop and refine game mechanics, systems, and features. This role requires a mix of creativity, problem-solving, and a solid understanding of game design principles.
Assist in designing and developing new game mechanics, systems, and features.
Create and maintain detailed game design documents and user stories.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including artists, engineers, and producers, to bring game features to life.
Playtest and iterate on existing features to improve player experience and game KPIs.
Conduct research and analyse player behavior to support design decisions.
Assist in creating wireframes, prototypes, and UI/UX layouts.
Participate in usability testing and gather player feedback for iteration.
2+ years of experience in game design within the mobile gaming industry.
Strong understanding of game design principles, mechanics, and player engagement.
Proficiency with game design tools and Unity.
Basic understanding of analytics and data-driven design.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and take feedback constructively.
