As a Teaching Assistant , you will have the opportunity to support our instructor team and advise and inspire some of the brightest minds and future leaders in finance. In this role, you will serve as a teaching assistant for live classroom training sessions during the summer and help students develop the skills and insights they need to excel in their careers. You will also have the opportunity to develop your presentation and public speaking skills, enhance your personal brand as a thought leader in the financial services space, and expand your professional network across the financial services industry.
The ideal candidate will have some experience working within the investment banking and private equity fields, as well as a deep passion for sharing their knowledge and experience with students and other finance professionals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support virtual and in-person seminars delivered to our investment banking and private equity corporate clients for both intern and full-time analyst and associate programs.
Help interns and analysts complete a variety of Excel-based financial and valuation modeling exercises (3-statement modeling, DCF, Comps, M&A, and LBO).
Assist the lead instructor with various tasks such as grading assignments.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Experience working within the investment banking and private equity fields.
Bachelor's degree.
Located in the New York City area.
Passion for teaching finance/investment banking.
Very strong accounting, financial modeling, and Excel skills.
Availability to conduct classroom training Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
Flexibility to teach in the summer months: (Mid May - Mid September).
