Syntax Talent Solutions is seeking a Investment Banking Associate - AVP for an organization specializing in Financial Services. This is an opportunity to gain unparalleled exposure to capital raising, market research, and strategic advisory services for clients across numerous industries.

OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise junior team members, providing mentorship, managing workflows, and ensuring smooth execution of client engagements. Develop and refine transaction-related materials such as pitch decks, confidential information memoranda, and management presentations. Identify, research, and compile targeted lists of potential investors. Conduct in-depth financial analysis and valuation modeling, evaluating deal structures across a range of capital solutions including senior secured debt and structured equity investments. Oversee due diligence efforts, including data collection, virtual data room management, and coordination with external advisors. Engage directly with clients and investors, participating in management meetings and handling critical aspects of transaction execution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ years of experience in investment banking, capital markets, private equity, or direct lending. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling presentations for investors. Solid academic background with expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and accounting principles. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and intellectual curiosity. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Self-motivated, capable of working independently with minimal oversight. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
