For more information visit . Job Brief Our New York office is looking for an exceptionally talented individual at the Associate level for our growing Restructuring practice. Associates work on small deal teams and have direct exposure to clients and senior bankers. Associates are expected to handle a high level of responsibility in the execution of restructuring and distressed financing transactions. Consequently, we expect our Associates to embrace a fast-paced environment, a high-level of responsibility, and leadership in a team setting. Responsibilities Individuals will be assigned a wide variety of projects and given as much responsibility as their experience and capabilities permit. Responsibilities include: Planning, structuring and executing corporate finance transactions with an emphasis on restructurings and recapitalizations Interfacing with clients as well as legal counsel to drive transaction execution Managing deal teams and working with analysts to develop financial models, valuation analyses and presentations Preparing presentations and analysis used for client interactions Qualifications Exceptional work ethic, intellectual curiosity, leadership and analytical aptitude Prior experience working as an analyst or associate within an investment bank is preferred but not required Demonstrable managerial experience preferred Strong modeling and financial statement analysis skill Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg and other financial information tools Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's Degree required We offer an exciting work environment with an entrepreneurial spirit.
