Job Summary: This part-time intern position will support the Commercial Real Estate Lending team at Needham Bank. The CRE Lending Intern will be involved with the commercial lending process in executing the Bank's strategic vision. They will work closely with loan officers, commercial credit analysts, portfolio managers, and commercial loan administrators to develop and maintain CRE loan portfolio.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide analytical and administrative support to portfolio managers and commercial lending administrators, including updating financial statement tracking.
• Prepare preliminary analysis, primarily financial statement spreads for commercial real estate borrowers
• Attend and participate in team meetings as needed.
• Perform additional duties as requested, needed or assigned

• Ability to work independently with some guidance from team members
• Prioritize work product in order to meet varying deadlines
• Knowledge of corporate and personal financial statements
• Financial analytical skills with sound judgment and decision making abilities

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Pursuit of Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field
• Entry level knowledge of business environment
• Interest in Banking preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Normal business office environment
