About the Role
The Company is seeking an Interim Executive Director of Children's Services to fulfill a critical leadership role. The successful candidate will act as the statutory Director of Children's Services, providing expert advice on safeguarding and all services related to children, young people, and schools. This includes ensuring that the organization meets its legal obligations and delivers a cohesive, responsive approach to local needs. As a key member of the Corporate Leadership Team, the Interim Executive Director will also support the Chief Executive in the overall management and delivery of the organization's priorities and strategies. The role involves driving performance and efficiency, as well as fostering effective partnerships to improve outcomes for children and young people. Applicants for this interim position must have a proven track record in a similar executive role, with the ability to lead and implement cultural and practice changes that prioritize the needs of children and young people.
