Inside Sales Representative, Aftermarket/Mechanical Engineering

Technical Inside Sales (Aftermarket) located in EITHER location: Traverse City, MI OR Horsham, PA

On-site 5 days a week with potential for 1 remote day per week

Pay: $60k-$80k base + 10% annual bonus

Position Overview
The Technical Inside Sales (Aftermarket) role is focused on providing exceptional sales support and technical expertise to our customers in the aftermarket sector. The primary objective is to drive sales growth by engaging with clients, understanding their technical needs, and offering tailored solutions related to thermal processing and industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements and provide solutions for aftermarket needs.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and achieve sales targets.
• Utilize CRM and ERP systems to manage customer relationships and sales processes efficiently.
• Prepare and present technical product information and quotes to clients.
• Maintain and update customer records in Salesforce and SAP.
• Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify new sales opportunities.
• Assist in the development of sales presentations and promotional materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in inside sales, preferably in the industrial equipment or manufacturing sector.
• Strong technical knowledge in thermal processing and extrusion would be a bonus. 
• Familiarity with CRM and ERP software, specifically Salesforce and SAP.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools like Power BI would be a bonus. 
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Inventor or Solidworks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
