Job Title: Infusion RN

Job Type: Part-time, PRN, Per diem

Medical Specialty: Home Health

Experience: Nursing: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification: BLS Certification (Required), RN (Required), US Nursing License (Required)

Work Location: On the road

Job Summary

The Infusion RN will provide infusion therapy nursing services to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care, and be able to perform catheter access & care, vitals/assessments, medication administration, and blood draws. The Infusion RN will also provide patient education on self-administration of medication and make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly.

Responsibilities
Perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws
Provide patient education on self-administration of medication
Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly
Requirements
Current Registered Nurse license with competent in the duties described above
Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care
Reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine
Must be able to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnel
Expect to do 2 visits per week
Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
