Industrial Electrician

Hourly Wage: $35.15

Location: Latrobe, PA

A large metals manufacturing facility with a century-long legacy of excellence in specialty alloy production is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician . This role supports critical maintenance operations in a high-performance environment serving the aerospace, energy, and other demanding industries.

Primary Duties:

• Inspect electrical equipment, including motors and control systems, for signs of wear, lubrication issues, vibration, and proper commutation.
• Use electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues and determine optimal repair methods to minimize production downtime.
• Advise when equipment should be shut down immediately to prevent damage or when continued operation is acceptable.
• Dismantle, clean, repair, replace, install, maintain, assemble, and lubricate electrical systems and equipment.
• Adjust systems for proper operational performance and make temporary or permanent repairs as needed.
• Service cranes with both mechanical and electrical repairs as necessary.
• Perform simple rigging and scaffold erection; operate basic machine tools (e.g., drill press, portable drill, power saw, grinder).
• Occasionally use arc welding and cutting torches during maintenance work on electrical systems.
• Operate high lifts in support of electrical repair work and check/maintain fluid and LP gas levels.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment and report any maintenance concerns.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Must meet safety requirements for fall protection.
• Basic mechanical repair experience and familiarity with electrical testing and troubleshooting tools.
• Ability to safely perform tasks involving scaffolding, rigging, and equipment operation.
