Job Description: Industrial Electrician
**Overview:**
We are looking for a dedicated Industrial Electrician with expertise in industrial electrical systems to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment and systems in an industrial setting. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and functionality of our electrical infrastructure.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment according to prescribed schedules.
- Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and tools.
- Repair or replace defective electrical components, wiring, or fixtures.
- Install new electrical systems, components, and equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to troubleshoot complex electrical problems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards in all work performed.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance and repairs.
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance technical skills.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and breakdowns to minimize downtime.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a Industrial Electrician or similar role with a focus on industrial electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and components.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
- Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and motor controls.
- Understanding of safety regulations and precautions related to electrical work.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification or training in industrial electrical maintenance is preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to on-call emergencies.
