Responsibilities Act as a liaison between English and non-English speaking and/or hearing guests, staff and patients by providing interpreter services. Listen to, comprehend, and translate oral or written communications from English to another language and vice versa. Translate basic to intermediate communication. Comply with all privacy and confidentiality policies when communicating patient information. Develop translated forms and educational materials for non-English speaking and/or hearing populations. Assist in the orientation and onboarding of new members of the network language services team. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: Certification specializing in Deaf Interpretation preferred. Interpreter preferred. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
