Purpose of the Position: This position works to promote and protect the health and safety of the residents of Cobb and Douglas Counties. Under the supervision of the BCW Manager, assess client’s birth to three with identified or suspected developmental delays. Provide patient education, linkage to care and developmental assessments. Confidentiality and precise data entry. Follows rules and policies. Must be willing to train others. Adheres to HIPAA regulations. In the event of an emergency requiring activation of Public Health, all Cobb & Douglas Public Health Staff will be expected to perform duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Essential Functions (include, but are not limited to ):
Work Conditions & Physical Demands: General office environment, some driving to appointments, outreach activities, meetings, and in-home client visits. This position does not require a lot of physical exertion. May require some lifting, but no more than 50 lbs. Community outreach activities.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college of university AND Two years of experience performing work related to area of assignment OR Six years of experience performing work related to area of assignment. Note: Some positions may require licensure.

Salary Information: $46,632.33 Annually / Pay grade I
