Health Education Consultant Requisition ID req33783 Working Title Health Education Consultant Position Grade 12 Position Summary Under limited supervision, provides specialized education, training, and technical coordination within an area of critical health-related or associated educational concern to professional provider groups, teachers, classroom personnel and/or community programs. Assesses needs, designs, develops, and delivers workshops, informational material, and/or special programs to meet community and/or classroom needs. Provides independent consultation and advice to professional health care providers/educators on specific requirements, and on education methods and techniques within an area of professional specialty. Conditions of Employment May require discipline-specific licensure and/or professional certification, as specified by the department in the preferences. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
