About the Role

The Company is in search of a Head of Conferences & Events to lead the strategic vision and execution of a diverse portfolio of high-impact, custom events. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding the event portfolio, and ensuring the flawless execution of branded conferences and custom events. This role demands a dynamic and charismatic leader with a proven track record in event management, business development, and a strong focus on financial stewardship. Key responsibilities include shaping the strategic vision for the events practice, overseeing event execution, driving growth strategies, and inspiring a results-driven team. The Head of Conferences & Events will also be tasked with developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies, engaging with clients and partners, and serving as a key spokesperson for the company at industry events. Applicants for the Head of Conferences & Events position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' leadership experience in event management, business development, or a related field. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in driving substantial revenue growth, building and leading high-performing teams, and a deep understanding of event technologies and financial management. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to negotiate and manage contracts, deliver impactful sales presentations, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
