Job Description

The Graphic Designer role at MEGHANI is a full-time, salaried position reporting directly to the Art Director (BREDA) and Senior Graphic Designer (JBW). In this role you will work closely with our creative and marketing teams to create newsletters, social media graphics, digital advertisements, and the occasional design project while also pushing the boundaries of both our brands in their multiple outlets. The person we are looking for has a serious eye for detail and design. They have a pulse on contemporary design trends, as well as an understanding of design history. They are highly efficient in their workflow and demonstrate excellence in their organization, time management, communication, and openness to feedback. 

What You’ll Do:

• Works closely with brand leaders to execute art directed newsletters, social media graphics, digital advertisements, small web edits other and design project s
• Builds out newsletters via existing templates using Klayvio
• Creates template-based Instagram stories in Illustrator/Photoshop
• Creates template-based digital advertisements
• Makes minor edits to the brands web pages in Shopify
• Meets deadlines with mass-exports of advertisements, images, and graphics using Adobe Illustrator templates
• Stays current on popular brands, musicians, and artists to help find examples of successful work to help inspire newness, while also maintaining the brand’s identity

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s of Arts in Graphic Design or a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Graphic Designer
• Exceptional skills in Adobe Creative Suite with a focus on Illustrator and Photoshop and one or more of the following: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects
• Working knowledge in Shopify, and/or other email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo
• Advanced understanding of graphic design fundamentals such as type lock-ups, type hierarchy, layout, and identifying references to past design works
• Must be able to provide an online or digital portfolio of work
• Good to have: experience in print, photography, videography, marketing, pre-sketching and planning, social media management, page layout, web-coding, HTML, and or basic 3D program skills
