Who we are looking for:

Cornerstone Capital Bank is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer with excellent design and communication skills, as well as the ability to develop unique designs that stand out against the competition. This individual will have expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, be able to work quickly but accurately, always with professionalism, and without the need for critical oversight. This individual will support multiple divisions and must be able to pivot quickly, while delivering outstanding content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate to develop campaign concepts that move the needle
• Ability to work on a large team within a fast-paced agency-like setting
• Ability to pitch concepts and creative ideas as well as willingness to recreate the visions of others
• Excellent communication skills working with team members across the company while delivering collateral directly to requestors with professionalism and willingness to revise as needed
• Transform written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects to the audience, and should also be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable
• Ability to create brand new designs from concepts or perform retouching and design edits to existing designs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while working on multiple projects, long or short term, under tight production deadlines
• Create and design marketing collateral for digital and print, using various programs to visualize and develop impactful designs that convey accurate messaging and branding
• Work independently as well as cooperatively with our team to meet deadlines and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects
• Examine existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions that improve design capabilities
• Prioritize and manage projects ensuring projects are completed on time with high-quality standards and according to established branding guidelines and rules of banking and mortgage compliance.
• Collaborate with fellow designers to develop new approaches for creating innovative design practices
• Organize designs and assets properly according to the department file organization system

What you’ll need to be successful:

• BA or AA in Graphic Design or related field, or equivocal design industry experience
• 5 or more years of experience (academic and professional) with industry standard design software, including Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, and Acrobat
• Proficiency in motion graphic design using Adobe animation software such as After Effects and Photoshop
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
• Expert knowledge of graphic design theories and principles
• Strong attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of file prep and layouts for print production, social media, and web
• Portfolio of work with a wide range of creative projects
• Ability to prioritize and strategically resolve issues under tight deadlines
• Preferred but not required: knowledge of Mortgage, Banking and/or Builder industries.
• Must provide portfolio with examples and professional references as requested.
