\nAt UPMC Magee, we value growth and development for our employees. We are looking for graduate nurses interested in obtaining experience in our Acute Care units and then advancing into our OB units. Beginning your career in the Acute Care units will allow you to gain the basic knowledge and skills as a new nurse and then expand on those skills as you move into specialized units. By starting in the Acute Care department, we will implement preferential transfer to the NICU unit as positions become available. This transfer will be based on your performance as well.
\nYou will be chosen for one unit - this is not a float position between units.

A role that requires independent judgment, fluent communication, and candid partnership, the Professional Staff Nurse establishes relationships with physicians, other care providers, patients, and patients’ families to achieve desired patient outcomes throughout the continuum of care.
