Government Contracts Manager Role:

Lead comprehensive contract lifecycles from opportunity identification through successful closeout.

Transform RFP challenges into winning proposals while orchestrating seamless award negotiations that position the organization for sustained growth.

Master the intricate landscape of FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific requirements, becoming the trusted authority who ensures flawless compliance while identifying strategic advantages within regulatory frameworks.

Build and maintain influential relationships with government contracting officers and key stakeholders across multiple agencies.

Serve as the respected voice that bridges organizational capabilities with federal mission requirements.

Collaborate with diverse teams to transform contractual obligations into operational success stories.

Guide colleagues through complex compliance requirements while maintaining focus on performance excellence and strategic objectives.

Craft compelling cost proposals and manage contract modifications that maximize value while maintaining competitive positioning.

Monitor performance metrics and funding streams to ensure optimal resource allocation and profitability.

Maintain impeccable records and documentation systems that exceed regulatory standards.

Support audits and internal reviews with confidence, demonstrating organizational integrity and operational excellence.

Provide strategic guidance to leadership on contractual risk assessment and government contracting opportunities.

Influence high-level decisions through expert analysis and market intelligence.

Government Contracts Manager Profile:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Public Administration, or related field

U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain required security clearances for sensitive government partnerships.

Minimum 5 years of distinguished experience in U.S. federal government contracting, with demonstrated success across multiple contract types and agency relationships.

Deep expertise in FAR, DFARS, and federal procurement processes

Hands-on experience with GSA schedules, DoD, DHS, and various civilian/federal agencies.

Advanced skills in contract management systems and government portals (SAM.gov, etc.)

Outstanding organizational, negotiation, and communication abilities.
