Summary
As a Financial Analyst at Altus Biologics, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide insightful financial recommendations, drive business growth, and contribute to strategic initiatives. Responsibilities
• Conducts thorough financial analysis, including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to provide insights into the company's financial performance and trends
• Prepares and presents comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to management, highlighting key performance indicators, risks, and opportunities
• Collaborates with various departments to gather relevant data and information, ensuring accuracy and consistency in financial analysis
• Evaluates financial data and market trends to develop recommendations for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency improvements
• Assists in the development of financial models, scenarios, and projections to support strategic decision-making, capital allocation, and resource planning
• Monitors and tracks industry trends and economic factors that may impact the company's financial outlook
• Participates in the annual budgeting and planning processes, providing insights and recommendations to optimize resource allocation and financial targets
• Assists in the preparation and delivery of client invoices, and supports both internal and external stakeholders with financial analysis
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• At least 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in healthcare or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
• Proficient in financial modeling, data analysis, and using financial software/tool
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to dissect complex financial data and extract meaningful insights
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and Google G Suite
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
• Knowledge of relevant financial metrics, accounting principles, and reporting standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying issues and proposing solutions
