Position: Founding Software Engineer

Location: San Francisco, CA (In-office)

Team Size:
Youll join a small but high-caliber team of engineers, working at the forefront of AI and machine learning. Youll be instrumental in shaping the companys core API and product features, delivering exceptional solutions to real-world problems.

About the Role:
As a Founding Software Engineer , youll play a critical role in building the core infrastructure that powers document ingestion and data structuring. Youll work on everything from API development to on-premise deployments, collaborating closely with customers to design features that address their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain the core API and on-prem deployments.
  • Work closely with customers to design and develop new features.
  • Create robust, scalable solutions for converting complex documents into structured data.
  • Collaborate with a fast-growing team to drive technical innovation.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience building real-world applications with a high standard for quality.
  • Strong knowledge of Python and algorithms.
  • Ability to quickly develop applications in Typescript/Next.js.
  • Excitement for working directly with customers to design and build features.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Interest in machine learning and AI advancements.
  • Experience building products in early-stage startups.
  • Competitive academic background or experience in competitive technical programs (Olympiads, KP Fellows, etc.).
  • Strong technical rigor, with experience at high-growth startups.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: Up to $200,000
