Requirements:

-At least eighteen (18) years old

- At least two (2) years of experience in the telecom construction industry that includes operating heavy equipment; preferably in a Foreman or supervisory role

- Class A CDL and DOT card to drive company vehicles

Preferred (not required):

- High school diploma / GED

- Tanker Endorsement

Job Duties:

-Supervise your crew (3 people or less) on all phases of underground construction include but are not limited to: Loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment

-Lead crews to meet project timelines

-Help with training of crew members

-Read and understand blueprints

-Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations

-Assist Supervisor with day to day activities

-Speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve any issues

-Perform work in all weather conditions

-Drive company vehicles with equipment to and from jobsites as necessary and permitted

-Safely operate and train others how to operate heavy machinery including but not limited to: Directional Drill, Backhoe / Excavator, Skid Steer, Tractor Trailer (Moving Equipment / Haul Water), Vacuum Truck/Trailer

-Other duties as assigned

Employer Notes:

- Seeking a flexible individual who is prepared to travel for up to one (1) week at a time, contingent upon the needs of the business; per diem for travelling covering meals and hotel / lodging. Will be spending the weekend at home

-Travel-related factor: currently the work is local, but frequently needed to travel to different locations (Offices in Stayton, Sherwood and Molalla)

- Work while wearing safety boots, safety glasses and hardhat

- Work in adverse weather conditions which can include but is not limited to extreme heat and cold temperatures; inclement weather such as wind, rain, snow, sleet and dust as well as adverse driving conditions including wet / icy roads

- This employer conducts a drug test, background check (will work around schools), DMV records check and a physical exam before first day of employment

Hours:

- The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, w/ the occasional Saturday. Overtime during the week; start time is 7 a.m. & the end time is between 4 and 6 p.m.

Pay / Benefits:

- $28 to $40 per hour depending on experience / qualifications; negotiable. Annual bonuses based off of production and performance

- Benefits are available 1st of the month after thirty (30) days of employment
