We are seeking a Food Safety & Quality Manager (FSQM) to lead all quality assurance and food safety programs at our pet food manufacturing facility. This role ensures compliance with FDA and SQF standards, supports continuous improvement, and fosters a strong food safety culture across the site.
Maintain and oversee the facilityâs Food Safety and Quality Management System (FSQMS).
Ensure compliance with FDA, FSMA, and SQF regulations.
Lead internal audits, 3rd-party audits, and regulatory inspections.
Manage HACCP, Preventive Controls, GMPs, sanitation, and pest control programs.
Serve as the site lead for quality investigations and customer complaint resolution.
Train and lead FSQ staff while promoting food safety awareness across departments.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support safe and compliant operations.
Bachelorâs degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of quality/food safety experience in a food manufacturing setting.
HACCP and PCQI certified.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Familiarity with SQF or other GFSI schemes preferred.
