We seek a skilled and motivated Fire Alarm Designer with expertise in Revit to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in fire alarm system design preferably focusing on missioncritical facilities. We encourage you to apply if you have experience with Notifier VESDA and Revit/BIM and hold a NICET II or higher.
Key Responsibilities:
Design fire alarm systems ensuring compliance with codes regulations and industry standards.
Develop and create accurate design plans using Revit or Autodesk including 3D diagrams.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to meet client requirements.
Maintain high attention to detail throughout the design process.
Communicate design concepts effectively to clients team members and stakeholders.
Stay informed on industry trends and technological advancements in fire alarm design.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of Fire Alarm System Design experience.
Proficiency in Revit or Autodesk for design and documentation (2 years of Revit experience required).
NICET Level II certification required (Level III is a plus).
Experience in missioncritical facilities preferred.
Knowledge of aspirating smoke detection (VESDA) and clean agent fire suppression systems is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to work a fulltime schedule Monday through Friday with 8hour shifts.
Ability to commute or relocate to Tempe AZ (relocation assistance available).
Benefits:
$65k $105k dependent on experience.
