Field Copier/Printer Service Technician – Fayetteville, Arkansas

$38,000-$40,000+ (depending on experience) Plus Benefits

Do you have a knack for troubleshooting and repairing office technology? Are you confident dealing with customers and solving technical problems? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are looking for a skilled Field Copier/Printer Service Technician to join our growing team.

Working across customer sites, you will provide hands-on support and ensure equipment is working efficiently. You will be responsible for servicing and repairing a range of digital office equipment, including copiers, printers, scanners and more.

This role involves independent fieldwork, customer interaction and technical problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoots, services and repairs a variety of digital office technology equipment. including copiers, facsimile, printers, scanners, (may include mail machines and VOIP telephones).
• Provides basic network support for network scanning and printing issues; educates customers about their office technology equipment.
• Effectively communicates with a variety level of customers to understand issue(s), probing when necessary to understand and diagnose the underlying problem.
• Develops options to solve unusual technical issues.
• Maintains time, resources and urgency of service issue (s) within territory; controls car stock inventory with minimal discrepancies.

The Person

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 1+ years’ hands-on technical and/or electronics experience with basic Microsoft office proficiency.
• Must maintain valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record and willingness to work unscheduled hours or attend to customer emergencies after hours.
• Physical endurance: time on feet, bending, stooping, and moving about within office / customers’ office(s), traveling between locations, carry heavy equipment up to 100 lbs.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to learn & problem solve and hands-on troubleshooting ability.
• Team oriented, professional appearance and demeanour.
