Self-Direction DSP - Syracuse Area (Job #ES-LA)
ARISE/Exceptional Family Resources is looking for a female Direct Support Professional to provide Respite (1 to 1 support) to a teenager with a moderate intellectual disability. She is a very happy, easy-going, very active and kind-hearted teen. Looking for Respite staff for 10 hours a week, roughly 245pm to 7pm... Weds, Thurs or Fridays. Flexible on days, and being able to work some weekend hours is a huge plus.
Service can be both in home or going out in the community. She enjoys outings to Onondaga park and going to restaurants. As well as watching videos on her ipad. The family is interested in trying new experiences with her and asks for a strong staff that will be willing to discover and try new places to explore with her. Experience is preferred.
Location: Syracuse, near West Hill High school
Pay rate: $22/hr
All new hires must complete a five-hour initial training. The pay rate for the initial training is $16.50
