Primary Responsibilities:

Site Assessment:

  • Visit commercial properties to assess the existing roofing systems, identify damage, and determine the condition of the roof.
  • Measure roof areas and gather detailed data about roof materials, access points, and structural features.
  • Analyze roof plans and blueprints to ensure accurate measurements and assessments.

Estimating and Costing:

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for roofing projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and additional costs.
  • Evaluate different roofing options (e.g., asphalt, metal, EPDM, TPO) and recommend the most cost-effective and suitable materials for the project.
  • Factor in overhead costs, safety requirements, and potential contingencies.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate project planning.
  • Communicate with clients to understand project requirements, expectations, and budget constraints.
  • Provide clients with clear and concise written estimates, including itemized breakdowns.

Procurement and Supplier Coordination:
