Description:
The Estate Manager will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical systems and day-to-day operations of the residences and grounds of two properties in Mundelein, IL. One property is a primary residence for a couple and the other property is a guest home which was newly constructed. This role ensures the properties are well-maintained with daily, weekly and seasonal tasks, in addition to running light errands for the owners. This role works closely with vendors, contractors, and staff to address maintenance and repair needs.
Knowledge of house mechanical systems such as Furnaces, AC units, water softeners, electrical, generator, plumbing, pool, boilers, irrigation, sprinkler, etc a must. Home entertainment (Smart home systems) knowledge a plus.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
· Candidates need to have wide range of maintenance knowledge to be able to handle estate and commercial office building processes, like boilers, pool systems, generators, lighting, plumbing etc.
· Must exude a professional demeanor and positive attitude keeping a very customer service and customer focused mindset.
· Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job site including vehicle insurance.
· Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
· Must be able to work independently.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Schedule:
· Schedule Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM (flexibility needed).
· Location – split time between wheeling and Mundelein locations
· Minimal weekends upon request or emergency
