Job Description

Seeking an experienced Equipment Electrical Assembler - Wirer to assemble, wire, and install electrical components for industrial machinery. This role requires reading blueprints, following schematics, and working with engineering teams to ensure precise installation and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

Assembly & Installation:

• Install and mount control cabinets and electrical panels onto industrial equipment, ensuring proper alignment and secure placement.
• Drill, tap, and prepare mounting locations for electrical components, including breakers, relays, contactors, transformers, and switches.
• Route and connect electrical wiring between control panels, junction boxes, and machine components, ensuring neat and organized installation.

Electrical Wiring & Testing:

• Wire all machine electrical components, including motors, sensors, and control devices, according to wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Solder wire connections and crimp connectors to ensure secure and long-lasting electrical terminations.
• Troubleshoot wiring issues and resolve electrical problems in collaboration with engineers and supervisors.

Technical Interpretation & Quality Control:

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts to ensure proper assembly and wiring configurations.
• Identify errors in diagrams or production orders and work with engineers to resolve discrepancies.
• Verify electrical connections meet safety and quality standards before equipment testing and operation.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electrical assembly is preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience as a machine wirer, panel builder, or industrial electrician.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electrical assembly and wiring procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Familiarity with electrical tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, soldering irons, and multimeters.
• Soft Skills: Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with engineers and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
